AppConversion operates several websites including appconversion.com (the “Websites”), as well as a number of mobile applications on behalf of our customers (collectively, the “Applications”). It is AppConversion’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our Websites and Applications.

This Policy describes how AppConversion collects, uses, shares, and secures the personal information you provide. It also describes your choices regarding the use, access, and correction of your personal information.

Your privacy is critically important to us. At AppConversion we have a few fundamental principles:

We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)

EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield

AppConversion complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States in reliance on Privacy Shield. AppConversion has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles with respect to such information. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. AppConversion is responsible for processing of the personal data it receives under each Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. AppConversion complies with the Privacy Shield principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

With respect to the personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, AppConversion is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities for instance, meeting national security or law enforcement requirements.

Passive Collection

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. Gathering of Personal Information

Certain visitors to AppConversion’s Websites and users of AppConversion’s Applications choose to interact with AppConversion in ways that require AppConversion to gather personal information. The amount and type of information that AppConversion gathers depend on the nature of the interaction. Those who engage in transactions with AppConversion – are asked to provide additional information including necessary personal and financial information such as a credit card number for processing the financial transactions. We may also collect form you name and email address about your contacts in order to refer our products or services.

Through our import contacts feature we may collect the name, email address, of your contacts in order to let you recommend our services to your contacts who might be interested in creating an app for their business and in the process rewarding both you and your contacts

When you provide us with personal information about your contacts, we will only use this information for the specific reason for which it is provided.

Aggregated Statistics

AppConversion may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors on its Websites and users of its Applications. We will retain your personal information for as long as an Account is active or as needed to provide the Service(s). We will retain Your Data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, maintain accurate financial and other records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

AppConversion collects information on behalf of our clients and has no direct relationship with the individuals with whom our clients may interact using the Service(s). If you are a customer of one of our clients (“End-Customer”) and would no longer like to be contacted by that client, please directly contact the client who you interact with. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our services. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by service agreements with our Clients. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct their query to AppConversion’s client (the data controller). If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will retain the personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Clients. We will retain personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Testimonials

We post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our Websites, which may contain personal information. Prior to posting the testimonial, we obtain the customer’s consent to post their name along with their testimonial.

AppConversion and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
